The works of this period investigate the image in its most reduced and emotionally condensed state, where the human figure begins to emerge not as a complete body or stable identity, but as a fragile visual residue suspended between appearance and dissolution. The paintings move toward a quieter and more introspective psychological space, establishing an early foundation for the later development of fragmentation, instability, and perceptual ambiguity within the project.

Within these works, representation is stripped of descriptive excess. Figures appear isolated, partially erased, or absorbed into surrounding chromatic fields, as if the body were losing its material certainty and gradually transforming into a psychological trace. The image no longer functions as a direct depiction of reality, but as an attempt to capture emotional presence in its most unstable and vulnerable condition.

The project explores the relationship between silence, memory, and abstraction through simplified spatial structures and restrained symbolic elements. Empty spaces, interrupted forms, and suspended gestures create atmospheres of introspection and emotional distance. Rather than constructing narrative scenes, the works operate through states of emotional suggestion and visual reduction.

Color plays a central structural role within the paintings. Strong contrasts between luminous yellows, deep blues, muted violets, reds, and darkened surfaces generate subtle tensions between warmth and isolation, presence and absence. Chromatic relationships become carriers of psychological atmosphere rather than purely formal composition.

The recurring appearance of shadow-like figures, obscured faces, and unstable bodily contours suggests an early investigation into identity as a fluid and uncertain condition. Human presence appears temporary and unresolved, continuously shifting between material existence and emotional disappearance.

Visually, the paintings move fluidly between figuration and abstraction while maintaining a strong gestural immediacy. The surface retains traces of process, erasure, and reconstruction, allowing the image to remain open, unfinished, and emotionally permeable.

Rather than presenting fixed meanings or complete identities, these works inhabit a suspended territory between silence and emergence, concealment and revelation. The paintings ultimately construct intimate psychological spaces in which the human figure becomes less a subject of representation and more a fragile condition of being.
